Post Thanksgiving Hike - Larus Park

POST THANKSGIVING HIKE

Where:  Larus Park       Time: 11:00 a.m.

If you feel like working off a bit of your Thanksgiving dinner, please join your RSC friends on a hike at Larus Park on the Saturday following Thanksgiving.

Larus Park is a 4 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Richmond that offers scenic trails for all skill levels.  Larus Park is 106 acres of wooded solitude bounded by Huguenot Road, Chippenham Parkway and Stony Point Fashion Park.  Dogs are able to use this trail but must be leashed.  The trail is well marked. Please bring water and/or snacks. 

Directions: From Chippenham Parkway, take Huguenot Rd west, and then turn right on Hayden Hill Lane (between the Shell Gas Station and the Fire Station #25).

Meet Linda Neal in the Larus Park parking lot near the park entrance.

Possible post-hike meetup:  Hardywood Brewery at West Creek where we can have refreshments and watch some football.
